They oversee the implementation and execution of the organization’s education strategy and marketing to meet annual revenue and program goals and deliver high-quality programming throughout the service region. The EOD manages Department staff and helps oversee volunteers who operate in the Education Department and organization-wide. The EOD recruits volunteers and oversees staff and volunteer training. The EOD builds community and public engagement within the Education Department to drive paid programming and broader connections to RMRP. The EOD is a vital member of the management team and has significant input into institutional planning processes. Horticultural Therapy Intern
Employee Classification: 20-40 hours per week May 15, 2024 - September 30, 2024 (Dependent upon intern availability.) Pay Range: $3,000 - $8,000 (depending on a variety of circumstances.) Our Horticultural Therapy internship is an effective way for horticultural therapy students to gain experience in the field. Through our internship, students learn how to apply the concepts and theories of horticultural therapy as a treatment modality for youth facing challenges at a small urban farm in Loveland, CO. The intern will engage and support HT participants during sessions and assist with administrative duties such as planning sessions and managing and growing our LEAD program. The internship meets the requirements created by the American Horticultural Therapy Association’s internship standards. Horticultural Internship
Employee Classification: volunteer Pay Range: unpaid Seeking 3-5 student interns who are interested in environmental science including native plants, wildlife habitat, sustainable landscape design, restoration ecology and more! Interns work 3 days per week (or as needed) in the native plant nursery, managing the gardens, and various restorative ecology tasks. Flexible start and end dates to accommodate school schedules are available. Interns have an opportunity to learn botany, native plant ID, landscape design, greenhouse production/maintenance, plant nursery experience and opportunities to be involved in community outreach and education programs and event.
